Complexity
A single, simple part is a smaller scope than a multi-part assembly with moving parts, snap-fits, or closures. Each step's tiers are ordered by complexity — low, medium, high — and the Advanced tier covers the high end, with its price set in the consultation.
What you already have
A project that starts from an idea and a sketch needs the early steps; one that arrives with existing CAD or a prototype in hand starts further along. What a step has to work from — sketches, files, or a physical prototype — changes what the step covers.
Scope of deliverables
A DFM report on its own and a report with the fixes applied are different scopes — as are 2 drawings versus a full drawing package. The deliverables agreed in the consultation are what the final price reflects.
Consultations & Booking
Every project starts with a free 15-minute consultation — and the first 15 minutes of every booking are free. Time beyond that is $100/hr, billed at $25 per 15 minutes, whether it is booked up front or added when a session runs over.

More time booked up front, for a bigger product or a longer list of questions. The first 15 minutes are free — $25 covers the rest of the half hour.
A full hour booked up front — the deepest single-session option. The first 15 minutes are free — $75 covers the remaining 45 minutes at $100/hr.
